National Conference on Trends in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

 

 

The Biochemists Association  Quaid-IAzam University, Islamabad (BAQI) andDepartment of Biochemistry, Quaid-IAzam University, Islamabad  is  organizinga one day conference (National Conference on Trends in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)  on 21st February, 2012 to disseminate information regarding recent updates in the area of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The past decade has witnessed exponential growth and development  in  different domains of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. This forum will provide an opportunity to researchers, academicians and students to discuss research and developmental activities relevant to our settings.  The primary goal of the conference  will be to promote scientific information interchange between students, teachers and researchers working in the exciting fieldsof  Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. This multidisciplinary conference  will feature plenary talks  and oral and postersessions.Since 2006,  Department of Biochemistry, Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad is contributing towards  the education and research training of M.Sc, M.Phil and PhD graduates and aims  to provide a stimulating and diverse research and training environment of international standing. Biochemists  Association  QAU, Islamabad (BAQI), Pakistan was established under the umbrella of Department of Biochemistry QAU  and  aims to promote scientific culture by organizing seminars, conferences, workshops and job fairs. BAQI is also trying to bridge the gap by connecting biochemistry and molecularbiology  professionals working in different sectors so that collective efforts may carve future  path for  students and  young researchers.Eligibility and Registration of Participants The  conference is open to  university academics,  researchers and PhD Students working in  any  area of  Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.  The interested applicants have to submit an abstract limiting to 250 words before the deadline. After abstract submission deadline, these will be evaluated by a committee and only ten participants will be selected for the oral presentation and rest will be considered for poster presentation. The best oral and poster presentations  in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology sessions will be awarded cash prizes.
