COMPPEC has traditionally been an Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Sciences projects exhibition and competition. This year the NUST College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (EME) is holding
11th of its series on 27th-28th June
The College has the honor to host COMPPEC for the last ten consecutive years. Only last year around 102 projects were exhibited from 40 different universities and colleges around Pakistan. This annual ICT festival is growing every year attracting more universities and students with relevant projects.
The College is collaborating with National ICT R&D Fund to focus on our shared vision of promoting and nurturing projects that would have the potentials of generating knowledge based economy for Pakistan. The projects have been grouped into four main categories.
- Electro Mechanical Systems
- Information Systems
- Communication Systems
- Digital Systems

UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) WED Programme

We are pleased to inform you that College of Signals a constituent college of NUST is organizing a 2-days short course ( 18-19 June 2011) on Satellite Communications System in collaboration with Institute of Space Technology (IST), Islamabad and IEEE Communications Society Islamabad Chapter.
This short course is meant for industry professionals, researchers and students who are interested in understanding the concepts and applications of Satellite Communication system Design. The course is heavily Lab oriented in which participants will get hands-on-experience in a State of the Art Satellite Communications lad developed for this purpose.
